A Mercedes driver fled from the Munich police, raced through Sendling, damaged cars and fled to Starnberg.

Munich – There was a major police operation in the Sendling district of Munich on Sunday, November 20th.

The Munich police informed about this in a press release.

Accordingly, a Mercedes should be subjected to a general traffic check at around 5:30 a.m.

According to the police, however, the car evaded control "and drove at high speed through the Sendling district." During the journey, the car stopped briefly and a previously unknown female inmate got out and fled.

In addition, the driver later touched a Fiat parked on the side of the road and damaged the vehicle.

He continued his journey "at high speed on the A952 motorway through the city of Starnberg.

He then drove back on the A92 motorway in the direction of Munich," the Munich police described the further course.

Munich flees from the police and races over the A952 and A95

Another traffic accident occurred in front of the Starnberg Autobahn triangle in the driveway from the A952 to the A95 in the direction of Weilheim, in which the fleeing car touched the guardrail and came to a standstill.

Two people got out of the car and fled on foot.

The search measures already initiated were expanded, and a helicopter was also used.

In the course of the search, an 18-year-old from Munich was arrested in the vicinity of the accident site.

He suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for further treatment.

The highway in the area of ​​​​the accident site had to be closed for about three hours.

The 18-year-old is now being investigated for, among other things, prohibited motor vehicle racing, endangering road traffic, getting away from a traffic accident and driving without a license.
