After the new generation of the ultra-luxurious Range Rover arrived in Israel at the beginning of the year, it was joined this morning (Monday) by its more athletic, slightly more modest and less expensive brother - the Range Rover Sport.
The new generation of Range Rover Sport was introduced last year, sharing the aluminum platform with the fiery Range Rover.
The Sport, on the other hand, is slightly smaller in size and more dynamic in nature, but uses drive units and technologies similar to those of the big brother.

The new design is a more modern and minimalistic interpretation based on the design of the previous generation, as it stands out thanks to narrow lighting units and a small and solid front grill relative to what is currently accepted in the automotive industry.
The completely new passenger cabin maintains the clean design line, when the instrument panel combines a 13.5 inch screen used as a dashboard and a 13.1 screen placed at a tilt as a multimedia system that merges with the line of the floating central console.
In the first phase, Range Rover Sport will be integrated in Israel in four drive versions: two turbo diesel versions with mild hybrid reinforcement (Mild Hybrid) with capacities of 300 and 350 hp, and two plug-in hybrid gasoline versions (PHEV) with capacities of 440 and 510 hp s, they have a battery that allows an electric driving range of 110 km.
All drive versions have an eight-speed automatic transmission, a dual drive system with variable power distribution and adaptive air suspensions capable of raising the vehicle and achieving a ground clearance of up to 28.1 cm.
The top PHEV version also has a rear-wheel steering system.
Gasoline versions, including the muscular V8 version, are expected to join the selection during the next year, when a fully electric version will be introduced only in 2024. The basic diesel and PHEV versions will be finished in the Dynamic HSE trim level, with prices of NIS 758 and 790 thousand, respectively.
The more powerful versions will be equipped with an upgraded finish level known as First Edition and the price is 857 thousand NIS for the diesel model and 936 thousand NIS for the PHEV model.
