A total of 17 men, aged between 14 and 69, were arrested for traffic violations related to the Grand Prix.


The arrested men were suspected of "drug trafficking", "taking vehicles without permission", "dangerous driving", "drink driving", "driving while the license was suspended", "driving without third-party insurance", "driving without a license", " Offenses such as driving an unlicensed vehicle" and "finding a wanted person".

Among them, a total of about 50 grams of suspected ketamine and 46 grams of suspected cocaine were seized in the car of three male drivers (aged between 14 and 25), with a market value of about HKD105,000.

In addition, officers also conducted alcohol breath tests on 664 drivers. Among them, 9 male drivers (aged between 29 and 69) failed the test and were arrested for "drink driving".

At the same time, officers also ticketed 2,048 vehicles for speeding and issued 894 fixed penalty notices and summonses for other traffic violations.

During the operation, the police seized a total of 4 vehicles suspected of illegal modification, and issued defective vehicle reports to 17 vehicles.
