Top ski areas in Europe: Garmisch-Partenkirchen makes it into the top 10
With Garmisch-Partenkirchen, a German ski area has also joined the best in Europe.
Overall, the ski area connects three local mountains: Hausberg, Kreuzeck and Alpspitze.
Ski fans have a lot to choose from on 40 kilometers of pistes – including the famous Kandahar Olympic descent.
A short foray through the historic core of the mountain village is also tempting.
Travelers find Garmisch-Partenkirchen's family-friendliness and opportunities for beginners and professionals at fair prices to be commended.
In general, however, it should be noted that in Garmisch-Partenkirchen - as in many other ski areas - prices have risen due to the energy crisis.
