N'Djamena-Sana
Ten Chadian soldiers were killed in an attack by the terrorist group Boko Haram, linked to the terrorist organization ISIS, in the Lake Chad region, north of the capital, N'Djamena.
Reuters quoted the government of Chad as saying in a statement: The Boko Haram terrorist group launched an attack on a military unit while it was carrying out a mission to establish an army position on the island of Boca Tolorum between the villages of Ngobua and Kaiga, killing ten soldiers and injuring several others.
It is noteworthy that Boko Haram has launched attacks since 2015 in Chad, Cameroon and Niger, as its attacks in the countries of the Lake Chad Basin resulted in the killing of thousands of people and the flight of 360,000 others.
