In Munich there is another protest action by the group "Last Generation".
A total of nine people stuck to Widenmayerstrasse.

After the climate protest in Munich in the morning, the officials temporarily took the participants into custody.
As soon as they were free again, some of the activists glued themselves back to the street - in the same place.

"In any case, this is also a signal that we will not be deterred, even if we are threatened with imprisonment," said a spokeswoman for the group "Last Generation" on Monday.
"We took the opportunity as soon as she came back." Meanwhile, 13 members of the group remained at Stadelheim Correctional Facility after being sent to police custody for 30 days by a judge's order.
One of the activists in custody was still on Monday, the group said, on a hunger strike he had begun just over a week earlier.

Activists of the “last generation” blocked traffic during a climate protest in Munich on Monday morning.
Nine people were involved in the blockade on the Luitpold Bridge, five of them stuck to the road, the police said.
The road closure was lifted after about an hour and a half.
The police took those involved into custody.

The activist group "Last Generation" issued a statement on the campaign via Twitter, saying: "The thought of long prison sentences does not deter us from fighting for a future worth living #ForAll.
We are heading towards the abyss and at #COP27 there was no agreement on comprehensive measures to reduce CO2 emissions.”
