The Hohenkammer Christmas Market Association consists of eight people.
There was a lot going on at the market in the Gemeindestadl and around it.
Hohenkammer
- The aim of the Hohenkammer Christmas market is to offer hobby artists from Hohenkammer and the neighboring communities a platform to sell their own products to men and women.
There were also several amateur artists from Hohenkammer, including the Catholic kindergarten.
A central exhibitor at every Christmas market is Christiane Krusche, who designs Advent wreaths and is also one of the members of the small association.
In the past few weeks she had again come up with some ideas for the individual design of the classic Advent symbols.
(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
Meanwhile, the Hohenkammer Christmas Market Association operated the stands for grilled food, drinks, coffee and cake.
Laura-Katharina Bley emphasized that, as in previous years, all the money after the expenses have been paid will be donated to the parents' initiative of sick and cancer-ridden children.
In view of the large number of visitors at the Christmas market, it is also clear that the donation is likely to be in the four-digit range.
Organizer Bley also thanked the supporters from Hohenkammer.
The local Geisenhofer butcher shop donated the food to be grilled, and the St. Johannes Catholic kindergarten also supported the Christmas market in advance with a monetary donation for a good cause.
"We are super satisfied," said Laura-Katharina Bley about the restart of the Christmas market.
There were many visitors, a nice atmosphere and the exhibitors had fun too.
Nevertheless, the organizer notes that the difficult economic situation made itself felt in the turnover of the amateur artists.
Money isn't as loose as it used to be when you discover something nice.
