The spokesman for the Iranian judiciary, Massoud Staishi, announced the arrest of 40 foreigners, during the recent riots in the country.
Staishi said in a statement today that 1,118 indictments related to the recent riots have been issued in the judicial departments in Tehran, pointing out that 2,432 people have been issued preliminary sentences so far across the country.
Staishi stressed that the recent riots in Iran revealed the plans drawn by the enemies, as the volume of media terrorism practiced against the country appeared, explaining that the entire Iranian people demand the state to resolutely confront the terrorists and security breaches, who seek to destroy Iran and harm its people.
