Gazpro Leasing starts marketing the Japanese luxury brand Acura.
For those who don't know, we will remind you that this is the luxury division of Honda, which is also considered the first Japanese luxury brand in the world (preceding Lexus and Infiniti).
Its main market is North America, where most models are also produced.
It has not arrived in Israel so far due to the lack of European standardization, but under the auspices of parallel imports that enjoy much fewer restrictions, you can now also purchase one of its models here, and it is the new MDX, the fourth generation of which was introduced only this year.

The Acura MDX will compete here with models such as the BMW X5 and Mercedes GLE, and offers a typical design for luxury 7-seat crossovers, relatively large dimensions with a length of 5.04 meters, a width of 2 meters and a height of 1.7 meters, alongside a wheelbase of 289 cm and a trunk with a volume of 460 liters.
The environment for the driver and passengers is full of high-quality materials according to the manufacturer, and there is also a 12.3-inch digital dashboard, multimedia with a 12.3-inch touch screen and smartphone connectivity, the list of accessories is of course long and includes, among other things, a panoramic glass roof, an electric tailgate, electric heated and ventilated front seats, a system Audio with 16 speakers, extensive ambient lighting and more.
These are joined by an advanced original safety package, which includes most of the systems popular in the market today.
The MDX will be offered in Israel with 2 engines to choose from, mated to an automatic transmission with 10 gears and dual drive.
The entry-level version is equipped with a 3.5-liter 6-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 290 hp, and those looking for more sporty performance can upgrade to the 3.0-liter turbo version that produces 355 hp.
This version also benefits from 21" wheel rims, air suspension and shock absorbers with sport mode, which include the option to lower the vehicle at the push of a button.
Acura MDX prices are not cheap at all and will start from NIS 694,590.
For comparison, the price of a BMW X5 currently starts at 674,000 shekels and the price of a Mercedes GLE starts at 670,000 shekels at official importers' prices.
