He barely survived - but his leg had to be amputated.

This is the bitter record of Amahdi N.: The 38-year-old was pushed in front of the incoming S-Bahn at Stachus in November 2021.

As a witness, he now had to testify in court against his tormentor.

Munich – With tears in his eyes, Amahdi N. (38) holds his left knee.

The lower leg underneath is missing – it had to be amputated after N. fell on the Stachus railway track in November 2021.

The S-Bahn ran over the 38-year-old, who was lucky to have survived the terrible accident.

Now the accident is a case for the judiciary!

Because a stranger had attacked Amahdi N. and apparently pushed her into the track for no reason.

Passers-by observed the crime and overpowered the perpetrator. Abdalla E. (42) has been on trial since Monday (November 21).

The public prosecutor even accuses him of attempted murder.

"I saw the devil in him," says Abdalla E. - he is considered mentally ill.

According to prosecutors, the 42-year-old pizza maker suffers from paranoid schizophrenia.

In madness, he was at the Stachus S-Bahn station on November 28, 2021 and, by his own admission, felt "in danger".

But the fact is, he hadn't taken his medication and was delusional.

Munich: 38-year-old was pushed onto the track by a mentally ill person – S-Bahn rolled over him

At around 3:20 p.m. he spoke to the later injured party.

First it was just a cigarette, then there was an argument.

Unbelievable: With his more than 100 kilos, Abdalla E. clutched his slender victim – Amahdi N. weighed only around 50 kilos at the time – and pulled him off the escalator in the direction of the railway track.

Then he pushed in front of the incoming S8, which was heading towards the airport.

Amahdi N. was hit by the train and run over.

Emergency physicians then saved his life in the intensive care unit of the Klinikum rechts der Isar.

"I'm really sorry.

I would like to apologize to the man," Abdalla E. said in court.

"I didn't want to kill him," he claims.

And: "I was crazy.

Only a madman could do what I did.

Today I am healed.” Drug therapy helped him.

That doesn't do much good for the injured person.

Amahdi N. says: “He destroyed my life.

What kind of person is that?” He didn't know his tormentor before.

"He spoke to me at the train station.

I thought he needed help.” In retrospect, he can no longer explain the argument.

"But I never thought it would end like this." The cleaner could not free herself from Abdalla E.'s clutches.

"He had developed incredible powers," probably through insanity.

"At first I was confused by the situation," says Amahdi N. "But I realized that it was getting dangerous when we staggered towards the platform.

But I never would have guessed that he wanted to push me onto the track.

I can't find an explanation as to why he wanted to do that.

As I stood on the edge and saw the train pull in, I yelled no loudly.

But no one helped me.”

In court, Amahdi N. bursts into tears when he has to report on the incident almost a year ago.

The 38-year-old has been traumatized ever since.

"I don't know how to proceed," he says.

"I can no longer do my job.

Now I have a supervisor and I depend on donations.”

Getting up alone or getting dressed: Amahdi N. now needs help for that.

How seriously the judiciary takes the case is shown by the fact that the criminal case will be heard before the jury - until December 9th.

S-Bahn pusher Abdalla E. is threatened with permanent residence in a psychiatric ward.
