Morsbach: Serious accident between Postbus and bus
The two vehicles collided head-on on the main road in Morsbach-Holpe, reports 24RHEIN.
According to the police, the driver of the Deutsche Post delivery van drove his vehicle into the middle of the street.
"The bus could not avoid the narrow lane, so the two vehicles collided with the left vehicle front," reports a police spokesman.
The force of the impact was great.
The Postbus driver was trapped in his delivery van and had to be freed by the fire brigade.
He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The front of the post bus was completely demolished.

In an accident with a Postbus: three occupants of the bus were injured
Three people were slightly injured on the bus - the 30-year-old driver, a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old.
The 15-year-old had to be treated as an outpatient in the hospital.

The police had to block the main street in Morsbach for around four hours.
The road was reopened around 3:40 p.m.
Already on Monday there was an accident in North Rhine-Westphalia involving a bus.
In Sankt Augustin, a bus collided with a parked taxi and then crashed into a row of shops.
