The Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Roman Golovchenko, will arrive at the head of an economic delegation to Damascus tomorrow, on a two-day visit during which he will discuss with Syrian officials ways to strengthen bilateral relations in various fields.
The talks will include the file of economic relations, strengthening intra-trade procedures and cooperation in a number of vital sectors such as energy, transport, education and culture in a way that achieves the common interest of the two countries, as well as discussing the contribution of Belarusian companies to the reconstruction in Syria, and cooperation between the business sectors of the two countries.
During Golovchenko's visit, Syria and Belarus are scheduled to sign a number of cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding in a number of fields.
