109 shooters fought for the Sulzemoos community cup.

The trophy stays in Einsbach.

Sulzemoos - The municipal cup shooting has been taking place for 36 years, after 2019 with a two-year Corona break, now the 34th edition.

"It's far more than a tradition, it's an institution," said Mayor Johannes Kneidl at the award ceremony.

For Kneidl, the award ceremony after taking office was the long-awaited premiere.

In his words of welcome, he emphasized that shooters can also win and achieve success in the community cup, which are not always among the top shooters in club life.

Harmonie Einsbach wins the municipal cup shooting in Sulzemoos

It can be seen again and again that there have been shooters for years, even decades, who have gone down in cup history as divisional legends, especially in the community cup.

A total of 109 shooters, 21 of them youngsters, started at the Harmonie Einsbach shooting club, 55 from Einsbach, 28 from Wiedenzhausen and 26 from Sulzemoos.

Harmonie Einsbach used the home advantage and won with a total score of 261.0 points ahead of Tannenbaum Wiedenzhausen with 525.4 points and Sulzemoos with 634.5 points.

The best result since the introduction of this municipal cup shooting.

The coveted challenge cup, which was presented by Mayor Johannes Kneidl and rifle champion Hermann Eger, will remain in Einsbach for another year.

The placements in the municipal cup shooting

Shooting master Hermann Eger, Johannes Kneidl and vice shooting master Hans Ries congratulated the winner Petra Wagenpfeil from Sulzemoos with a 7.0 divider, ahead of Sandra Eppeneder from Einsbach, also equal with a 7.0 divider, but due to the deck divider in 2nd place. Third place went to Hans Hainzinger (part 17.2) followed by Thomas Wagner (part 18.2) and Michael Schlatterer (part 18.6), all three from Harmonie Einsbach.

The first three winners received nice trophies as a reward for their accuracy, up to 10th place there were valuable vouchers.
