Six people have been killed in a shooting at a Wal-Mart store in Virginia, in the second mass killing in just a few days.
The Associated Press quoted Leo Kosinski, a police officer as saying today: The incident occurred late last night, when the police received a report of a shooting in the store, and when the police arrived they found seven bodies, one of the shooter.
The incident came three days after a gunman opened fire at a gay nightclub in Colorado, killing five people and wounding 17 others.
Violence with individual weapons is a widespread phenomenon in the United States, with more than 600 shootings targeting a group of people this year so far, and these shootings have rekindled the debate about imposing restrictions on the use of weapons despite little progress in Congress on Adopt reforms on this issue.
