Poems bearing the sentimental, emotional and patriotic character were presented by the participants in the festival, which was hosted by the Arab Cultural Center in Kafr Souseh, to celebrate the days of Syrian culture. It was titled “Heritage and Creativity.”
The festival, which was organized by the Directorate of Culture in Damascus, was attended by a number of poets who came to Damascus from a number of
Syrian governorates, in which the poet Thabet Al-Moallem presented poetic texts that carried the sentimental, emotional and patriotic character.
The poet Rosanna Wakim's texts expressed emotional, human and sentimental states that embodied different states of women and their steadfastness in the face of all the difficulties they encountered.
As for the poet Ferial Zaidan, she delivered three texts with a human, emotional and flirtatious content, while the poet Manhal Al-Ghadban chose a text of spoken poetry titled “Why is the blame”, in addition to patriotic and sentimental texts of a human and sentimental nature.
In turn, the poet Hossam Al-Miqdad adhered to balanced and vertical poetry in his texts, and dreamed of an emotional, flirtatious and human character.
As for the poet Muhammad Hassan Ali, he described in his texts the poet Aba Al-Alaa Al-Maari and the vandalism of his statue at the hands of terrorists, in addition to texts praising the glories of Arab poets.
