In addition to the questionable human rights situation in the host country and the ban on beer, the controversial "One Love" armband has come into focus in recent days.
Despite the ban by FIFA, Interior Minister Nancy Faeser showed up with the armband at the German team's opening game.

The DFB, like all nations participating in the campaign, is therefore not taking part in the planned action.
Faeser, who is in Qatar on a short visit, is not.
