The family dispute that degenerated into the murder committed by a 61-year-old father, Piero Pesce, against his 26-year-old son Valerio broke out at dawn this morning in an apartment in Canelli (Asti), in the Via Giovanni XXIII area.
According to initial information, the man struck the young man with a sharp object, killing him.
It then turns out to have been the father himself who called the carabinieri, essentially confessing to the murder already during the phone call.
The 118 doctors and the military arrived on the spot.
There was nothing more that could be done for the young man.
The man, on the other hand, was arrested and is now in the barracks by the Carabinieri of Canelli.
According to the first findings,
the boy was killed at the height of a dispute
, for reasons yet to be fully ascertained, linked to
debts contracted by the young man
.
The family situation, as it emerges, had been particularly difficult for some time.
Father and son, at the time of the crime, were alone in the house.
