Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has expressed his confidence that the unipolar world order is going irreversibly.

Russia Today quoted Lukashenko as saying during his participation in the Security Council meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in Yerevan: “Unfortunately, there are a number of these points in the European and Eurasian space, which is the area of responsibility of the Collective Security Treaty Organization,” indicating that NATO has adopted the path of anti-Russianness. And Belarus for the foreseeable future, which is why he stopped all contacts on his own initiative.

Lukashenko added: The decision to deploy a regional group of federal state forces came as a natural reaction to the existing challenges, pointing out that countries that seek to follow their own development path and pursue an independent foreign policy path such as international organizations, including the United Nations, face enormous pressure to dominate them.

Lukashenko warned that the cost of armaments is growing at an unprecedented rate and reaching terrifying values, especially that the governments of NATO member states, instigated by Washington, are ready to spend billions to confront the alleged threat from the east, while in reality it is feeding the US military-industrial complex.

On the other hand, Lukashenko warned of the danger of amassing NATO forces east on the western borders of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and at the eastern wing of the alliance under the pretext of what is called deterring Russia and its allies, considering that it is nothing but preparation for an expected theater of operations.

Lukashenko continued: The parties meeting today discussed sensitive points and problems in the world first through the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Samarkand and then the CIS summit in Astana, and our region is not immune from these problems and threats, so our meeting today will be a continuation of the dialogue that we started in Samarkand and Astana.
