In a press conference following the end of the 19th international meeting in the Astana format in the Kazakh capital, Sousan affirmed that the actions committed by the American and Turkish occupation, foremost of which is the provision of support for the remnants of terrorist groups and the frequent cutting off of water for citizens in Al-Hasakah, amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity, and constitute a violation Proclaimed the Charter of the United Nations, calling on the international community to condemn these acts.
Sousan said: The final statement of the guarantor countries meets Syria's aspirations, and this is not strange, as almost all Astana statements bore the same formulas, because it is assumed that there is a will from the guarantor countries to do everything that would combat terrorism and consolidate and enhance stability in Syria, and we do not exaggerate if we say : The Astana framework is the only framework through which achievements have been made in terms of the situation in Syria, where the area of terrorism has been reduced through the de-escalation zones, and this formula could have achieved greater achievements if the Turkish regime had adhered to the Astana outputs and the understandings reached. With Russian friends, but unfortunately the problem has always been the evasion of this regime and its failure to abide by its commitments that it signed, foremost of which is respect for the sovereignty, sanctity and integrity of its lands, and this is what all the participants in Astana talked about, including the other guarantor countries, and the Turkish side was clearly informed that this The practices are unacceptable and will only lead to an escalation of the situation in Syria.
Sousan added: Ensuring security is not through aggression, attacks, and invasion, but rather through cooperation, and the responsibility for security in neighboring countries is a joint responsibility.. Soussan stressed that any attack or infringement of Syrian territory is a violation of its sovereignty and a strongly condemned act.. and Syria will do whatever it takes to defend its borders and territorial integrity in accordance with international law, which gives it legitimacy to defend its lands to repel any aggression.. and we say to others who still have Some illusions about their expansionist or separatist projects or others: They have to see that the hour of truth has approached..and there will be only one unified Syria..and whoever is interested in defending Syria must support the efforts of the Syrian Arab Army in defending the national territory, and the society. Soussan said: The 19th meeting of the Astana format on Syria is being held under extremely complex international circumstances, and as everyone realizes, our world did not need more escalation in which we are living, and all this is due to the mentality of domination and exclusivity in the international decision that leads the policies of the American administration, as Syria suffered As a result of this illogicality that fuels the American policies to impose guardianship and dependence on it, and to confiscate its national decision, and in order to achieve this, this administration used all its lies, fabrications, and media misinformation, and it also brought in terrorists from more than 90 countries, to kill the Syrians and destroy their achievements, and it continues today to do so. Its economic terrorism through illegal unilateral coercive measures and the theft of Syrian oil and wheat, and thus bears a primary responsibility for the suffering of the Syrians.
Soussan reaffirmed that the illegal foreign presence on Syrian territory, whether American, Turkish or otherwise, is a violation of international law, and must end immediately without any conditions, not to mention that it mainly aims to impede the consolidation of stability in Syria, and to abort the field achievements that have been achieved at the level of Fighting terrorism and obstructing the reconstruction process.
Sousan pointed out that the attacks committed by the separatist “Qasd” militia against our people in the Jazira region confirm the link of this militia to the anti-Syrian project, and that in addition to its denial of national affiliation, its practices include the forced recruitment of children, attacks on schools, and the threat of closing them in the cities of Hasakah, Qamishli and Malikiyah, and depriving them of Thousands of students are deprived of their right to education, and the theft of national wealth represents a departure from the simplest national axioms, and we reaffirm that these militias must abandon their illusions because the Syrian people will not allow anyone to harm the unity of the country, and any project in this regard is doomed to collapse and failure.
