An unusual and alarming event took place last night (Wednesday) in the evening hours in Holon, when a pedestrian was stabbed in the chest in front of his wife by a motorcyclist who approached the crosswalk and almost hit them.
During an argument that developed between the two parties, 52-year-old Yuri Volkov was stabbed in the chest and later died of his wounds.
The news, which was widely covered in the many media, was commented on by many celebrities.
"Where have we come? Human animals. The world is in danger! There are no words! This killer biker just stabbed a man to death spontaneously in front of his wife, for nothing! "I just saw the video of the biker stabbing a guy who came to protect his wife at a crossing in Holon, and listen, I want to cry! What's going on here?! One stab in the heart, and that's it, another soul who came to protect his wife will no longer be with us," he is horrified .
"Not a word about that 'man' who stabbed to death that I don't even have the vocabulary to describe what I wish for him. It just seeped in, my heart aches," he added, adding tearful emojis.
The TV presenter Haim Etgar also did not remain indifferent to the news of the violence, and uploaded a video to his personal Instagram page, in which he called for action by all means in order to eradicate crime in Israel, and ruled that the general sense of security had been lost.
"What is this stabbing in Holon? What is this crazy thing?" he cried.
"What is this crazy insecurity that we live in? A woman wants to cross the road, a motorcyclist, she claims, almost hits her, she takes a picture of him, a lawsuit begins and things are very unpleasant between her and him, the same woman's husband arrives and the motorcyclist without a bill at all takes out knife and finish him off," he told the chain of events as published in the media.
