The judge stated that there is grounds for arrest at a high level, since the offense "was committed with serious violence or cruelty or while using a cold weapon • He also added: his criminal record shows a person with a pattern of impulsive and violent behavior

Tel Aviv-Jaffa District Court Judge Oded Maor ordered the arrest of the accused Aryeh Greenfeld who threw a helmet at a driver in the Ayalon lanes. As you may remember, Greenfeld was recorded hitting another driver with the helmet he confronted in the middle of the road.

The court ruled that there is grounds for arrest at a high level, since the offense "was committed with serious violence or cruelty or while using cold or hot weapons."

The court added that the danger arose and even intensified in light of the defendant's violent behavior which can be learned from the video recording the serious incident.

Violent brawl in Ayalon South

Judge Oded Maor insisted that the facts of the indictment indeed show that during the court and discussions that developed between the two, the complainant hit the accused in the face with one blow.

However, it is not possible to learn from those facts about the claim that as a result of the blow the accused's teeth were broken or displaced.

The court added that even if this claim turns out to be true, apparently, the defendant's reaction to that blow was disproportionate, and especially cruel.

A ticking time bomb that needs to be stopped.

The court emphasized that to the extent that that blow caused the accused to lose control and panic because of that "black screen", then his disproportionate reaction, a reaction that is not immediate to the danger (as much as it was required), which erupted from him time and time again, raises a real fear that his powerful and cruel outburst will come in cases Many others in which the accused will feel feelings of distress, loss of control and panic.

This behavior shows a very high degree of danger.

From watching the video recording the incident, it can be seen that the accused could have broken contact with the complainant, but the confrontation continued, and the accused comes back, continues and repeats and slams the helmet on the complainant's head with great force, and this without detracting from the complainant's part in the incident, by hitting the accused first.

Judge Maor stated that apparently it is difficult to strike because due to that blow, a "black screen" fell on the accused and as a result of distress he lost control and drove as he did.

According to Maor, watching the video shows that the accused "did not see with his eyes" when he was determined to retaliate against the complainant, while the fact that they were standing and blocking a central and busy thoroughfare, and by the way his violent behavior even endangered others, while continuing to beat the complainant until he lost consciousness, cannot be accepted as an expression of distress , but of an act of bullying on his behalf and the child must be called by his name.

The court added that the defendant also has a burdensome criminal record for violent offenses characterized by bully impulsivity and a high level of severity.

Finally, Judge Maor ruled that his violent and cruel behavior in the incident that is the subject of the indictment in this case, which is joined by his relevant criminal past, shows a person with a pattern of impulsive and violent behavior, and in fact who can be seen as a ticking bomb that may explode in full force with severe and violent aggression that may endanger human life.
