Christmas market starts on the 1st Advent

While the little ones look forward to St. Nicholas, the grown-ups can enjoy the Christmas market at 17 stalls.

The Christmas market stalls are set up in the center of town just in time for the first Advent

Poing – On November 26th and 27th, the Christmas season starts at 2 p.m. around the big Christmas tree on the market square.

For the fifth time, the Poinger Vereinskartell is organizing the Christmas market together with the municipality of Poing.

Mayor Thomas Stark will open the market on November 26 at 4 p.m. – accompanied by St. Nicholas, who has a sack with 400 presents for the little visitors.

This year, eleven Poinger clubs will have a total of 17 stands - with classic mulled wine, hot aperol, eggnog, beer and children's punch, plus sausage rolls, hot potato chips, shish kebab, all sorts of soups and of course honey gingerbread, cookies and waffles.

In addition, every Christmas decoration - from Advent wreaths and Christmas tree balls to beeswax candles and felt things.

There was also a Vhs stand with handicrafts, the community lottery hut and a hut from the Waste Management Office.
