Le Figaro Nantes
The end of year celebrations are approaching.
In addition to the cold and shorter days, the launch of many events in Nantes makes it possible to realize this.
If in 2022 the main novelty is the winter edition of the Le Voyage à Nantes festival, the traditional Christmas market and those of creators are back.
Again, there are some changes planned.
Here's what you need to know.
Place Royale and Commerce
As for the
"classic" Christmas market organized in the city center of Nantes
, it will be bigger in 2022 and there will be more chalets: 130 compared to 90 last year.
An evolution made possible by the return of some of them to Place Commerce in addition to those usually present at Place Royale.

One of them should not go unnoticed.
It will be in the yellow and green colors of FC Nantes.
The local football club has decided to return to the market by offering multiple products bearing the image of the Canaries.
During the opening month, one-off or recurring events are planned: make-up or creative workshops, strolls by stilt walkers or brass bands, gospel singing.
Among the chalets, it will be possible to buy products but also to eat or taste the classic mulled wine.
