Activists from the group "Last Generation" stuck themselves on the inner Kanalstraße in Cologne on Thursday and caused traffic chaos.
Cologne – Climate protests caused long traffic jams on Thursday morning on the inner Kanalstrasse in Cologne.
“Shortly after 8 a.m., seven people took part in this climate protest,” the police explained when asked by 24RHEIN.
Five of these protesters had glued themselves to the street, which meant that the cars could not pass there, reports 24RHEIN.
A long backlog formed, which extended to the A57, the police continued.
However, around 9:30 a.m. the blockade was cleared and traffic slowly started to move again.
“Climate stickers” are causing a stir with increasing frequency – also in Cologne?
