Bad Tölz

- It will soon be colorful between the trees in the Tölzer Bürgergarten.

There, Sabine Richter and Tanja Rudolph from Café Miteinand are planning an “Inclusion Heaven”.

"The sky consists of hulahoops, which are covered with cords on the inside and then woven around with wool," explains the co-initiator of the project, Tanja Rudolph.

"The tires are then either stretched as a sky between the trees or hang down like a curtain." The result should be a colorful mix and variety.

"That's what inclusion is like," explains Rudolph.

"Everyone is good in their own way and can contribute their part to society." Rudolph saw the idea for the inclusion tires on the Internet.

“We thought this would be a nice project.

In January we can then show how colorful and open Tölz is to inclusion in line with the Special Olympics.”

Tires will be displayed in the Bürgergarten in January

In order for the project to succeed, Rudolph wants as many people as possible to take part.

"We want to distribute tires to retirement homes, support centers, schools, kindergartens, handicraft groups and sports clubs," she explains.

“Of course, private individuals can also participate.

Anyone who feels like it can take part.”

There will be a handicraft table for this purpose in the Café Miteinand.

Or you can pick up your tires there.

Eventually, 240 hulahoops are on order to be designed by January.

"The material is ready," explains Rudolph.

But she also welcomes donations.

“Anyone who has leftover handicraft material such as wool, decorative items or ribbons is welcome to give it to us.” There are no limits to creativity when it comes to design.

Nothing should be made of paper, because the material has to be weatherproof.

In January, the colorful tires are to be hung up in the Bürgergarten.

Everyone who helped design the tires will then be named on a poster.

"We hope that many will participate," says Rudolph.
