"01 Investigative" revealed that in recent years, some cancer-stricken city residents have raised medical expenses to do "immune cell therapy" that costs more than 100,000 yuan per injection, which turned out to be suspected of being an illegal treatment.

The reporter "Snake Release" found that a geriatric doctor was suspected of smuggling injections made from umbilical cord blood from people with unknown history to Hong Kong from Shenzhen. Treatment solicits business.

The mainland company that processes immune cells has obtained national certification and can only be used for in vitro diagnosis. The person in charge of the mainland company also bluntly stated that they did not know about the cells being transported to Hong Kong.

Lin Zibo's wife Dong Yanjun also received this treatment before his death. After Lin Zibo learned that the treatment may be illegal, he accepted an exclusive interview with "Hong Kong 01" and called on the public to be vigilant.

Award-winning reporter Li Yinglin said that the "Snake Freedom" interview required on-the-spot response, and there were many difficulties. Also, because of the epidemic closure, they could not go to the mainland to interview the laboratories involved, so they had to rely on telephone interviews to make the mainland laboratory bosses confuse themselves.

She thanked the terminal cancer patients and their families who assisted in the report, and especially thanked Mr. Lin Zibo for his willingness to stand up and tell the story, so as to make the public vigilant.

Another award-winning reporter, Lao Xianliang, shared that after the report went out on the street, he learned that reporters from the cable "News Lancet" and "Apple Daily" also interviewed the same doctor involved.
