The cultural symposium, hosted by the Arab Cultural Center in Tartous, within the Syrian Culture Days, discussed new terms from digital culture and the digitization of culture and culture in the digital age.

Dr. Sumer Salih, who reviewed the difference between these terms, considered that they are intersecting terms, but they are not similar, explaining in a statement to SANA reporter that the Arab countries are not immune from the digital transformations that the world has been witnessing for two decades.

He pointed out that the cultural phenomenon is a human phenomenon that has existed since the inception of mankind, but what is new is the digital transformations and the terminology that has been widely circulated in society on social networking sites, indicating the need to observe the extent to which local culture accepts this digital phenomenon, how to respond to it, what are its tools, the risks it faces, and the extent of harmony and disharmony. Between culture as a human phenomenon and the digital phenomenon.

The diverse artistic ceremony for the children of the Nagham Wa Qalam Center, titled (Joy of Childhood), which was held at the center, included a singing segment, trained by Ghiath Kaber, in which the children presented various patriotic and traditional songs, in addition to three purposeful comic performances of the Shadow Fantasy Theater, trained by Nouruddin Mualla, Thabet Omran and Nour. Ali, in addition to a folk arts segment, in which the participants presented dance paintings by Thabet Omran, and a theatrical performance by director Hassan Nasr entitled (The Mukhtar Fund).

In Baniyas Cultural Center, the Bait Al Bahr Project Band and the Dandana Music Center held an artistic concert that included a variety of musical and creative songs.

The director of the Dandana Band, Sumer Muhammad Bin, told SANA reporter that today's concert includes a variety of songs by the band's members and the Beit Al-Bahr project, which emerged from the Dandana Band recently.

A group of traditional and creative songs was presented, accompanied by the playing of musical instruments by famous reciters, including Mrs. Fayrouz, Wadih Al-Safi and Nawal Kharman, in addition to a group of modern lyrical recitals.

Ezz El-Din Bilal, the musician responsible for the music distribution within the Al-Bahr Project, stated that the idea of ​​the project revolves around presenting performances directly in front of the audience, in contrast to the musical groups that rely on composition, and then present them to the audience.

The solo songs were performed by Ali Khaddour, Aziz Othman, Naya Jahjah and Randall Muhammad.
