Washington to provide $400 million in additional military aid

"This $400 million tranche includes additional weapons, ammunition, and air defense equipment from US Department of Defense inventory," the secretary of state said in a statement Wednesday.

It also includes generators to help the country deal with power outages caused by Russian strikes, the Pentagon said separately.

Cities called to donate generators

European cities are called by the European Parliament to donate electric generators to Ukraine, which is suffering massive power cuts due to Russian attacks.
