The DPRK today strongly criticized South Korea and the United States' efforts to implement unilateral sanctions against it, stressing that it exacerbates tension on the Korean Peninsula.
"The South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs has described our exercise of the right of self-defense as a military provocation, and it is considering imposing additional individual sanctions as long as we continue to do so," the Korean Central News Agency quoted Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Democratic Workers' Party of Korea Kim Yo Jong as saying in a statement.
And she added: “As soon as the United States called for independent sanctions against the DPRK, the puppets in South Korea imitated it dramatically, but the more Washington and its followers in Seoul insist on imposing sanctions against us, it will escalate, and our hostility and anger will turn into a noose that wraps around their necks directly.”
"They are idiots who do not know how to live in comfort and safety, as they see that sanctions can get them out of the current dangerous situation," Yoo Jung continued.
