An unknown person tried to break open a safe in an office on Kirchgasse on Wednesday night.
Erding – Around 1 a.m., the burglar forcibly gained entry to the office building on Kirchgasse in Erding and searched all the rooms, the police report.
He found a safe, but could not open it despite considerable effort.
The perpetrator stole several electronic devices and fled on foot towards the district office around 3 a.m.
Apparently he was being watched.
According to the police, the stranger is about 175 cm tall and slim, was dressed in dark clothes and wore a hoodie.
The police are asking witnesses who can provide relevant information to contact Tel. (0 81 22) 96 80.
The extent of the damage is not known.
