The Vocational Training Council (VTC) will hold the "New Generation New Skills" Expo at the Wanchai Convention and Exhibition from December 9th to 11th. The Expo is one of the celebrations for the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the 40th anniversary of the VTC.

The expo is one of the celebrations for the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the 40th anniversary of the VTC, and is fully supported by the Education Bureau.

The activities include thematic lectures, exhibitions of innovative works, industry sharing sessions and fashion shows, introducing the outstanding achievements of VTC students and allowing the public to explore Vocational Professional and Professional Education (VET) and skills development together.


The expo also has a number of skill demonstrations and skills experiences, including a series of "hands-on" booths, allowing participants to experience various professional skills. It is suitable for people from all walks of life and people of different ages to participate, and the fee is free!

Set up five exhibition areas to help the public understand vocational education

The exhibition consists of five exhibition areas: "Digital Age", "Green Living", "Live Healthy", "Smart Home" and "Cultivating Talents", displaying many innovative works of VTC teachers and students that combine technology and can be applied to daily life.

The virtual reality teaching facilities for air cargo work allow students to experience the actual environment of various air cargo work in the interactive virtual space, and carry out the steps of cargo handling in the cargo aircraft warehouse, the establishment of air cargo boards, the handling of special specifications of goods, and temperature control Cargo and dangerous goods training.

The "Digital Age" exhibition area will exhibit VTC smart services, innovation and metaverse, as well as projects around design, art and technology themes, including a number of immersive projects, such as immersive experience halls and 4D robots, allowing participants to experience Vocational education integrated with advanced technology.

The "Green Living" exhibition area will display the research projects of students and graduates of THEi Academy of Sciences, as well as the achievements of THEi Academy of Sciences in sustainable development, greening and industry collaboration projects.

The "Digital Age" exhibition area will exhibit VTC's smart services, innovation and metaverse, as well as projects on design, art and technology, such as AR designers, immersive 4D robots, allowing participants to experience how VTC applies the latest advanced technologies to Different majors.

Technology promotes the intelligentization of traditional health care services. The "Live Healthy" exhibition area will exhibit smart health technology projects developed by VTC teachers and students to improve the quality of health care services, such as immersive rehabilitation training systems.

Participants can also experience the fun of smart activities through digital health and exercise tests, VR travel and sports games at the smart sports experience booth.

The immersive rehabilitation training system is designed to integrate the real world and the virtual world, simulating real-world scenes, as a variety of health care and rehabilitation training life (ADL) training such as physical training, cognition and daily activities.
