Free admission to the cinema for volunteers in the district of Starnberg

Going to the cinema on December 5 is free for volunteers with a volunteer card and Juleica from the Starnberg district.

District - For the International Day of Volunteering on Monday, December 5th, the district office of Starnberg and the district youth council have come up with something again this year.

Holders of the card can go to the cinema for free.

On this day, holders of the Bavarian Volunteer Card and the Youth Leader|incard (Juleica) receive free entry to the performances of the wide-screen cinemas in the district and the film station in Gilching.

District Administrator Stefan Frey: "This campaign is intended to be a small thank you for the great commitment of volunteer district citizens!"

A small thank you for great commitment

Anyone who shows their volunteer card or Juleica in the wide-screen cinemas in Gauting, Seefeld or Starnberg and the film station in Gilching on December 5 will receive free admission to the films.

District Administrator Stefan Frey and Ralph Stößlein, board member of the district youth council, thank the cinema operators and acceptance partners of the Bavarian volunteer card, Matthias Helwig as well as Matthias Bojen and Ulf Maneval, for the cooperation on the day of volunteering.

International Volunteer Day to recognize volunteer work

The cinema program for that day can be found at www.breitwand.com and www.filmstation.de.

After the promotion runs in normal cinema operation, a ticket reservation in the respective cinema is recommended.

Free admission is possible if you show your volunteer card with your ID card or the Juleica at the box office.

The promotion cannot be combined with other discounts.

International Volunteer Day is a day of remembrance and action held annually on December 5th to recognize and encourage volunteering.

It was adopted by the United Nations in 1985 with effect from 1986
