This year, the Syrian Trust for Development was able, through its targeted programs and community beacons spread across the governorates, to grant more than 85,000 children opportunities and friendly spaces that help their growth and the formation of their creative personalities.
In a report published on its official Facebook page, the Syrian Municipality indicated that it subjected the aforementioned children to many courses, such as computer courses, recreational activities, and others to raise awareness about their rights and taught them many skills, such as life skills, in addition to securing a safe space to express themselves and their problems and try to guide them to confront and solve them in cooperation With their families through case study services in cooperation with specialists.
The Municipality pointed out that during the past three years, it has provided remedial lessons for more than 20,000 children, especially for those who missed out on educational opportunities because of the war, such as drop-out students, class (B) students, and free-study students, so that no child is deprived of his right to education or left without an opportunity to build his skills, noting. The Legal Response Program contributed to issuing hundreds of documents and papers for children that were lost during the terrorist war on Syria and presenting them to their families, which helped them return to school.
During the year 2022, the Syrian Trust for Development launched the first phase of the Masar Friends project for children from 8 to 11 years old to teach them self-awareness and the competencies necessary to succeed in school and life, while the social emotional learning program outside school hours targeted children from 5 to 15 years old.
