All of them have become part of the terrible statistics of the murder of women in Israel, a list that only gets longer from year to year, while the police drag their feet and the state refuses to root out the problem.
Many women have been murdered in the past year, since November last year.

Rasha Sitavi, 32 years old from Merar
On November 25, 2021, the day of the fight against violence against women, Nidal Dagar, 32 years old from Rama, murdered Rasha Sitwai.
Rasha was the owner of a beauty salon and mother of three children, who divorced her husband.
That evening she helped her daughter with her homework, until she was murdered in front of the 10-year-old.
The killer arrived in the village of Merar riding a scooter that he bought the day before.
He stopped near the murdered woman's house, climbed the stairs of the apartment and entered her with a gun in his hand.
Sitwai hid behind her daughter, knowing that the killer would not harm her, but the killer did not respond to the mother's pleas and, despite the girl's cries, murdered the deceased with three gunshots.
After that, he verified a kill.
It is still unclear what the killer's motive was and whether he was sent by another person.

Rasmia Barbor, 28 years old from Manof HaGalil
On January 21, 2022, Mahmoud Arslan stabbed to death his pregnant wife, Rasmia Barbour.
The murdered woman was five months pregnant, and the couple, who had been married for about five years, raised a 3-year-old boy together. A few years ago, they moved together from Nazareth to the Galilee landscape.
The husband worked as a food technician, and the wife as a cook.
She was murdered in the fifth month of her pregnancy.

On Thursday night, Mahmoud stabbed his wife 50 times using four different knives, and each time a knife broke he replaced it with another until Barbar's death.

Finally, he called the police and told the officers that he had murdered his wife.
Suhila Jaroshi, 36 years old from Ramla
On January 22, Saturday evening, Suhila Jarushi was driving her car with her three children, aged 9, 12 and 16 - and was shot three times, apparently by a member of her family.
She was taken to Assaf Harofeh Hospital in critical condition, where she was pronounced dead.
To this day, the murder has not been solved.

An unknown person, 27 years old from Ramat Gan
On January 25, a 27-year-old woman from Ramat Gan, whose name has not yet been released, was found lifeless in the bathtub of her apartment.
Her partner, 32 years old, was arrested on suspicion of murder.
To this day, the murder has not been solved.
An unknown person, 61 years old from Migdal Hamek
On February 22, a 61-year-old resident of Migdal Ha'Emek, a nursing woman whose name has not yet been released, was called to Ha'Emek Hospital in Afula in critical condition.
Signs of injury and violence were found on her body.
After resuscitation attempts, she was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Her partner, a man in his 50s, was arrested on suspicion of murder and denied what was attributed to him.
To this day, the murder has not been solved.
Avishag Fahima, 22 years old from Jerusalem
On March 6, Saturday, Avishag Fahima was found unconscious in her home after consuming drugs.
A day later, the police arrested David Natanzi, her partner, who allegedly supplied her with the pills that caused her death.
When Avisheg's body was dissected at the Institute of Forensic Medicine, residues of toxic substances were found in her blood.
Dry cuts were found on the hands of both spouses.
A month after he was arrested, the suspect was released due to difficulties in compiling the evidence.
To this day, the murder has not been solved.

Rima Khadijah, 33 years old from Kalansawa
On April 23, 2022, minutes after the end of the Ramadan fast, Rima Khadija was shot outside her home in Kalansawa, in front of her four children, whom she raised alone since her husband, who owed money to criminal elements, committed suicide two years ago.
Since then, she received threats on her life, and complained to the police several times.
She lived in the house of her husband's family;
Her husband's brother and his family live on the first floor, and she lives on the third floor with her four children: a ten-year-old, an eight-year-old, a five-year-old and a four-year-old with special needs.
Since her husband died, Rima paid his debts.
"She lives on people's handouts, they wanted to drive her out to the street," said her relative.
"They kept wanting to get her out of the apartment and there was a trial for that."

Dina Simhon, 62 years old from Kiryat Ata
On May 7, a 41-year-old man murdered his mother, 62-year-old Dina Simhon, in her home in Kiryat Ata.
Two months before the murder, the son returned to live with his mother, who asked to take care of his needs and provide him with mental health care, since his condition was unstable at times.
He used to lock himself in his room for long periods of time, partly because of his anger at the involvement of care providers, and would only come out when she was not staying in the apartment.
On the day of the murder, the accused left the apartment naked with a kitchen knife in his hand, with which he began to threaten a neighbor in the building, who was holding her infant granddaughter in her arms at the same time.
They ran away from him and locked themselves in their apartment, while he continues to knock on the door and threaten them.
Upon hearing the screams, his mother followed him out of the apartment, then stabbed her more than 20 times, then left her on the floor, basking in her blood.
During his interrogation, the son confessed to the acts attributed to him, and has since remained in custody.

Luba Potkhin, 48 years old from Ashdod
In 2015, Luba Potkhin filed a complaint with the police against her partner, after he attacked her.
Nothing was done and seven years later, on May 16, 2022, Sergey Bityukov, 52 years old from Ashdod, murdered his partner Luba, the mother of a 17-year-old who does not live with her.
He tore off her shirt, wrapped her around her and wrapped it tightly around her neck to strangle her.
This, after he suspected that she cheated on him.
In his interrogation, he confessed to the murder and repeated it.
Johara Hanifs, 28 years old from Shfaram
On June 7, the car of Johara Hanifs, a social activist and the daughter of the mayor of Shafram Faraj Hanifs, exploded due to a bomb attached to it, and she was killed on the spot.
Half a year before the murder, Johara was interviewed on the "Arab 48" website and protested the violence in Arab society.
"The phenomenon of violence is one of the negatives we face, we feel insecure in our society and this hinders our progress in all areas of life and creates fear among the members of Arab society," she said.
Hanfis even appeared in a joint video for the municipality of Shafaram and the unit for the promotion of the status of women that dealt with violence in Arab society.
In the video, she appears as a bride on her wedding day with the caption "It's our turn to take care of our generation".
To this day, the murder has not been solved.

An unknown person, 65 years old from Petach Tikva
On June 9, a man called his relative and indifferently told her that his wife was unconscious at their home in Petah Tikva.
The relative called the police, who found the woman lifeless and detained her husband for questioning on suspicion of murder.
To this day, the murder has not been solved.
Sapir Nahum, 25 years old from Acre
On June 2, Sapir Nahum disappeared.
Sapir, a discharged soldier and single mother of a two-year-old and an eight-month-old daughter, was last seen leaving her daughter at kindergarten.
Afterwards, in the security camera footage, she was seen getting into, getting off and getting into the car of her ex-partner, Wala Halaila.
After that, she walked towards the house where she lives with her mother and sister - but she didn't get there.
Sapir's phone was left on her bed.
After 12 days, her body was found, dumped near the settlement of Ivtin in the north.

While she was in the army, she became pregnant with Halaila, whom she met when he lived next to her in Acre.
The two separated and she raised their two children alone.
Sapir demanded from Halaila that he acknowledge the paternity of her son, and they were in negotiations about alimony payments and various signatures that were required for her to arrange the children in kindergarten and in general in the education system.
In the morning at the beginning of June, Halaila lured Sapir into his car, strangled her to death and buried her body.
He still denies his charges.
Samar Kalasni, 51 years old from Haifa
On June 12, Maron Kalasni, 54, stabbed his wife, Samar Kalasni, to death.
The couple raised three children together in their 20s, and divorced.
The man was financially troubled and apparently addicted to gambling, and tried to commit suicide several times.
After Samer asked to say goodbye to her husband, he broke into her apartment, while their daughter was sitting in the guest room.
He sprayed her face with tear gas, pushed her out of the apartment and locked her outside.
Then, according to the indictment, he sprayed his wife's face.
In response, Samar tried to run away to the balcony, but her husband pulled her back inside while hitting her many times.
He stabbed her 13 times in the abdomen and back using two knives.

The woman's daughter and grandmother, who were outside the apartment, shouted and begged Maron not to hurt his wife.
Upon hearing the screams, many neighbors gathered outside the apartment, and one even entered the apartment from the balcony.
When Maron saw the neighbor enter the apartment, he stabbed himself in the stomach area until one of the neighbors overpowered him and took the knife from his hand.
Liana Savnok, 20 years old from Beit Shemesh
On July 23, Liana Savnok's brother found her lying unconscious next to their father, Alexander.
The MDA team pronounced them dead on the spot. The police investigation revealed that the father, who is known to the welfare services and was previously imprisoned for a drug scandal, arrived at his ex-wife's house, who is abroad, while his daughter was staying there alone.
He stabbed her and ended his life.
Several knives were found there.
It also emerged from the investigation that the father called his son this morning and asked to meet him at the apartment as well.
The younger brother, who found the members of his family without signs of life, was late in arriving, and apparently escaped death.

Rabab Abu Siam, 30 years old from Lod
On July 26, an unknown person parked near the house of Rabab Abu Siam's divorcee, who had come to meet her daughters.
He entered the yard and shot Rabab nine times, in front of her little daughters.
Rabab, a teacher with a master's degree, a mother of three daughters who was going through divorce proceedings, was subject to many threats before the murder.
The weekend before the shooting, her family members warned her not to come to the city.
She was known to social services due to the threats she received, and refused to enter a shelter for women victims of violence.

Yelena Gerenberg, 27 years old from Rishon Lezion
On August 25, Jason Blaze, 30, a close friend of Yelena Gernberg, stabbed her in the neck, back and hands and wanted to burn her body.
Yelena was a student at the Peres College of Nutritional Sciences, studied in the library of the Faculty of Agriculture in Rehovot, and loved to travel more than anything.
The two were friends for about four years, during which Blaise asked Gerenberg to make their relationship romantic.
At the end of August, he drove her from her house in Rishon Lezion to various places in Rehovot, when at the end of the day, the two were supposed to arrive at her sister's apartment.
On the way there, Blaise stopped in the parking lot of the train station in Rehovot and murdered her.
She refused to turn the friendship into a romantic relationship.

A passer-by found the body in an orchard in Rehovot with signs of violence and stabbings.
During the interrogation, Blaise confessed to the act and even said that he tried to commit suicide before the arrest.
Manar and Hadra Hajaj, 34 and 14 years old from Lod
On the night of September 5, Manar Hajjaj was driving with her two twin daughters, Hadera and Miriam, until a shot pierced their car window.
The mother and her room were murdered on the spot;
The twin sister survived the shooting and was moderately injured.
The two sisters used to volunteer at a community community center in the city. Miriam is still staying in a hiding place, fearing that she too is on the assassins' agenda.
The source of the details who spoke to Walla! said that Manar's husband lives abroad and is known to the police as a criminal.

Yiffit Purian, 31 years old from Rehovot
In September 2022, Yipit Forian informed her husband of nine years, Shay Salmi, that she wanted to separate from him and leave the house with the children, aged one, four, six and seven.
Finally, Yafit agreed to Shay's request and the two continued to live together, in the same housing unit with his parents, for their four children, but without acting as a couple.
On September 25, Shay looked at his wife's phone and saw romantic correspondence with a man who worked with her, whom he also knew.
That night, Shay wrote a farewell letter to his children and parents and went up to the room, where Yipita was lying in her bed, with his baby lying in the crib next to her.
He took the cradle out of the room, came back, stabbed his wife ten times all over her body and then slit her throat.
He then locked the room while he was in it and set fire to the mattress she was lying on.
She was murdered in front of her baby son.

Shai's father heard the baby crying, went up to the housing unit and demanded that Shai open the door, but he refused.
After noticing the smoke, the father broke down the door and rescued Shay from the room with burns all over his body.
Yafit died on the spot.
Yael ben Avraham, 66 years old from Herzliya
On November 1, election day, Jacob ben Avraham stabbed to death his wife, Yael ben Avraham.
There was a divorce dispute between the two, and a fight arose between them over the division of property.
Linui's daughter, who was staying in the apartment, was also arrested on suspicion of involvement in the murder.
Jacob confessed to the murder, repeated his version and claimed that his daughter was innocent.
To date, no charges have been filed in the murder.
