The government announced today (24th) that a total of seven sewage sites in Yau Tsim Mong District, Tsuen Wan District and Eastern District tested positive and had a relatively high virus load, involving Yau Ma Tei Jazz Garden and King's Park Hill; Tsuen Wan Cheung Shan Estate, Park Lo and Siu Wo Street and Residences near Dahe Road; Hing Man Village, Chai Wan.
The local District Office will distribute a total of about 40,000 rapid antigen test kits to its residents, cleaners and property management staff for self-testing.
The Environmental Protection Department and the Drainage Services Department are collecting sewage samples in various districts for coronavirus testing, and positive results have been detected in some areas, indicating that hidden patients may exist in premises in this area.
The latest affected locations include:
• Yau Tsim Mong District - Jazz Garden and King's Park Hill
• Tsuen Wan District - Residential areas near Xiangshan Village, Bailu and Siu Wo Street and Dahe Road (see attachment)
•Eastern District - Hing Man Village

The government reminds that when using rapid antigen test kits, one should pay attention to and follow the manufacturer's instructions, conduct the test correctly and read the results, and it is advisable to take pictures immediately after reading the results for record.
Hands must be cleaned before and after the test, and unnecessary items should be placed in the sample collection area as little as possible.
After testing, all components of the test kit need to be carefully wrapped and sealed, and disposed of properly.
If the home environment is contaminated during sample collection, it should be disinfected with 1:49 diluted household bleach or 70% alcohol.
People who have obtained a positive result of the rapid antigen test for the first time can declare through the "2019 Coronavirus Rapid Antigen Test Positive Result Reporting System" online platform.
If citizens have difficulty using the online platform, they can call 183 6119 to register their identity documents and phone numbers through the automated system.
The Center for Health Protection of the Department of Health will contact the relevant person in due course to complete the declaration process.
