In celebration of the days of Syrian culture (heritage and creativity), the band (Syrian Joys) presented a folkloric dance performance under the title Maqamat al-Farah.
The show, which was held on the stage of the Arab Cultural Center in Ain Al-Sharqiya in the countryside of Jableh, included a variety of dances and dances from the folklore of the Syrian countryside, traditional patriotic songs and contemporary dances to the tunes of distinguished tarab songs.
The show began with a rural folk painting from the heritage of the Syrian countryside, entitled (Ya Human), which expresses joy, simplicity, and the life of the Syrian person in the countryside, his delight in life and his desire for it, despite his struggle with nature for the sake of life.
The second paragraph of the show included dances and dances to the songs of (Al-Lala) in the rural folk costume of the coastal region, in addition to a dance painting to the tune of the song (Flapping Yamam Al-Sawahel), by the Palestinian composer Muhammad Habbash, which calls for upholding our right to the land and calling for its liberation.
The show included dance paintings of contemporary songs sung by distinguished artists, such as the song (Ma Rido) by the late artist Mayada Bsilis.
The artist, Ali Khaddour, the band's supervisor, explained to SANA that the aim of the show is to call for life and joy, no matter how difficult the circumstances and the challenges are great. The Syrian people deserve to live and be happy, especially after the great sufferings that befell them in the terrorist war on Syria.
Khaddour pointed out the importance of evoking the Syrian heritage, spreading it and calling for its preservation, pointing to the beautiful messages and noble values that our heritage carries, with its cultural and heritage value and an invitation to joy, hope, love and humanity.
