Russia's permanent representative to the United Nations, Vassily Nebenzia, announced that the bombing of infrastructure sites in Ukraine is a response to the injection of Western weapons into it, and Kyiv's reckless calls for a military victory over Russia.
"Undermining the combat capabilities of the Ukrainian army, which threatens Russia's security and territorial integrity, is one of the objectives of the special military operation, and it will be implemented by military means until the Kyiv regime takes a realistic position that would allow us to discuss Within the framework of negotiations, we are trying to settle those issues that forced Moscow to launch the operation.
Nebenzia added: What we are hearing so far from Vladimir Zelensky and his supporters is not a preparation for peace, but rather the language of reckless warnings.

Nebenzia pointed out that Moscow is waiting for the international community to evaluate the evidence it provided of torture and recent execution of Russian prisoners by the Kyiv forces.
