In the middle of a week to combat violence against women, a new case of domestic violence in Nice was reported to
Le Figaro
on Thursday by a police source.
The facts occurred overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday.
Between midnight and a half and one o'clock in the morning, a heavily alcoholic man broke down the front door of his apartment, located avenue Jean Médecin, inside which was his wife.
Then he went after her, at least verbally.
In particular, he threatened to cut off his head.

Informed and quickly dispatched to the scene, a crew from the emergency police intervention unit proceeded to the arrest of the respondent and to his placement in police custody in the premises of the Departmental Security.
The latter was already known for similar acts committed last August.
It is not known if the victim decided to file a complaint or even if she was taken care of following this attack.
