President of Honduras declares a security emergency to combat extortion in the country

Honduran President Xiomara Castro has declared a national security emergency and said she will launch a "war on extortion" in the country.

According to claims from carriers, criminal groups of extortionists do not want to let them work if they do not give them a daily quota of money.
