Since the gold-plated picture frame was damaged during the gluing campaign, damage of around 4,000 euros was incurred.
In addition, there was a loss of income of 7,000 euros due to the necessary closure of the museum.
According to the SKD, there was a total damage of around 12,000 euros.
Adhesive actions by climate activists from the group "Last Generation" have recently increased in Germany.
Streets in particular are blocked nationwide during the protests.
Just a few days ago, members of the movement stuck to the Stachus in Munich.
With the actions, the activists want to draw attention to the climate crisis and promote the expansion of renewable energy.
