The University of Hama signed a memorandum of understanding with the Eye and Plastic Surgery Hospital in the province on cooperation in various research and training fields.
Dr. Muhammad Ayman Sabbagh, Dean of the Faculty of Human Medicine, who signed the memorandum on behalf of the university, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that its aim is to train students of the Faculty of Medicine within the (clinical education stage), in a way that guarantees raising their level and training, providing them with experience and training, and developing their capabilities in the field of scientific research, through Modern equipment and devices and operating rooms available in the eye hospital, as well as knowledge exchange between specialists and consultants in the hospital with the help of the experience and advice of faculty and technical staff at the Faculty of Human Medicine at the University of Hama.
For his part, Dr. Ghazwan Al-Marai (who signed the memorandum as a representative of the Eye Hospital) pointed out the importance of the memorandum, which includes constructive and purposeful cooperation to enhance the vision of the hospital administration and its mission to network with educational institutions and universities, and to meet the requirements of comprehensive national development through concerted joint efforts in the reconstruction of Syria.
It is noteworthy that the memorandum of understanding, which was signed in the University of Hama building, is for a period of three years and can be extended.
