The Director of the Technical Department at the Syrian Telecommunications Company, Eng. Musab Al-Haj Ali, announced that the optical path rehabilitation work has been completed on the main road, Hama-Aleppo, after it was out of service as a result of the attacks and acts of sabotage it was subjected to during the war on Syria.
Haj Ali explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the length of the track whose implementation has been completed is about 156 km, as it will be put into service soon, indicating that an alternative route has been established to link the governorates of Aleppo and Hama via Khanaser, as a first aid solution during the war period. It is the only optical path currently in operation.
Al-Haj Ali pointed out that the rehabilitation of the main track, along with the alternative track, will work to secure the ring protection of communications for the Aleppo governorate in the event of a breakdown on one of the two lanes, ensuring the continuity of communications on the one hand, and securing the linking of the centers spread along the Hama-Aleppo International Road on the other hand. These are the centers of Morek, Kafr Zita, Khan Sheikhoun, Al-Tah, Maarat Al-Numan, Saraqib and Tal Hadya.
