Attention turned today to the House of Culture theater in Homs, which hosted the first activities of the Syrian Culture Days, with a performance of the play “Abu Zaid al-Hilali” by Zinati Qudsia, in the presence of a large audience.

The play, which is shown for the second time on the stage of the House of Culture in Homs, is considered a popular theatrical work in which Qudsia touches on the reality of the Arab person, evoking one of the most famous symbols of the Arabs, “Abu Zaid al-Hilali.” Mithal Jamoul, Hussein Arab, Rami Jaber, Izz al-Din Issa, Avram Zakimi and Fadi Ziyadah participate in the acting. .

In a statement to SANA reporter, Hassan Labbad, Director of Homs Culture, said that the Syrian Culture Days are an important opportunity to show the diverse cultural and intellectual stock in Homs, during which the cultural movement will be revitalized through a range of cultural activities.

The head of the Artists Syndicate in Homs, Amin Roumieh, indicated that the city of Homs has witnessed in recent years a clear and influential cultural activity, indicating that the Homs audience, which is thirsty for various types of culture, proves its presence in various events and is always an added value to any cultural work.

Tomorrow, the film “The Deceived” will be screened in Abdel Moeen Al Malouhi Hall in the Homs Cultural Center as part of the activities of the second day of the celebration.
