The hype surrounding the first game of the North American football league NFL in Munich was huge.

Now the fans can hope for a new edition soon.

Munich – Tom Brady was thrilled.

"It was one of the greatest football experiences I've ever had," said the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback immediately after the game at the Allianz Arena.

"Considering that I've been in the league for 23 years, that says a lot.

The fans were incredible.” And this experience could be repeated next year.

According to Merkur information, there is a possibility that another NFL game will be played in Munich in 2023.

This is reported by tz.de.

The match between the Buccaneers and the Seattle Seahawks on November 13 was the first NFL game on German soil.

The American football league aims to increase league sales to $25 billion by 2027.

For this to happen, global expansion must continue.

For example, there have been games in London and Mexico City for some time.

In Germany, Frankfurt and Munich will alternately share a total of four games until 2025

In Germany, Frankfurt and Munich will alternately share a total of four games until 2025. It's the turn of Hessen next year - but maybe there will be an additional game in Munich.

According to information from our newspaper, there will be no game in Mexico City in 2023.

Because the Aztec Stadium will probably be renovated for a period of twelve to 18 months to make the venue fit for the 2026 World Cup.

This information has also reached the Munich City Hall, the administration is apparently already in contact with the NFL to bring the Allianz Arena into discussion as a replacement venue.

And the chances are not so bad, as City Hall says.

Because the representatives of the NFL were also enthusiastic about the game in the Bavarian state capital.

NFL boss Roger Goodell had already announced that he would not be surprised if there were more than the four games already agreed in Germany.

And the football hype in this country is enormous - according to the NFL, there were three million ticket inquiries for the almost 70,000 seats for the Allianz Arena in Munich alone.
