The Haifa district attorney's office today (Friday) submitted to the district court an indictment against a 16-year-old resident of Jasar al-Zarqa, who is suspected of being involved in the murder of 14-year-old Walid Shahab.
According to the indictment, filed by attorney Anan Ganem, the defendant made a decision to harm those present in the pizzeria - and for that purpose he equipped himself with a gun.
On October 14, the accused walked towards the pizzeria where the father, his sister and an employee of the pizzeria were present.
The defendant approached the pizzeria, pulled out the gun, shot through it - and fired several bullets into the pizzeria.
The employee of the place, who heard the footsteps even before the shooting, had time to bend down and hide behind the counter.

At the same time, the father and sister who noticed what was happening, began to run away from the pizzeria towards their mother, who was waiting for them near the place.
The accused also ran in the same direction, passed them, and being at a very short distance from them, turned towards the pizzeria, shot again at the pizzeria from a few meters away and fled the scene.
As a result of the shooting, the deceased was hit by a bullet that penetrated the chest and he was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he was hospitalized until his death was determined.
The crimes attributed to the defendant are murder with indifference under aggravated circumstances, aggravated assault with intent and weapons offenses.
