A 62-year-old man was electrocuted to death today (Friday) in Beit Rishon Lezion.
The MDA team that was called to the scene gave him medical treatment, but at the end of the resuscitation efforts - he was pronounced dead.
MDA paramedic Ofir Sheesh said that he found the man unconscious, without a pulse and breathing.
"We gave him medical treatment and performed advanced resuscitation operations that included breathing, massages, administering medication and electric shocks from an old device (a defibrillator), but unfortunately in the end we had to pronounce him dead," he said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

About two months ago, a 23-year-old man was seriously injured by electrocution on Moshe Dayan Boulevard in Rishon Lezion, in the train complex.
MDA medics and paramedics gave him medical treatment and performed resuscitation operations on him that included the use of a defibrillator.
Magan David Adom reported that the advanced resuscitation operations included six electric shocks. When the pulse returned, the young man was taken to the Wolfson Hospital in Holon while he was breathing. Apparently the young man climbed one From the electric poles, or train cars, after telling his friends that he was going to perform stunts, he touched the cable and was electrocuted.
