The building committee of the city of Miesbach has somewhat relaxed the regulations that define the installation of photovoltaic systems (PV) in the local design statute.
Miesbach – The revised set of rules was accepted unanimously.
It was not a radical release, but a benevolent loosening.
"We have softened everything," said Mayor Gerhard Braunmiller (CSU).
Three areas in particular are affected, which have been revised.
For example, the erection of photovoltaic and solar systems, which was previously prohibited, should continue to be avoided if possible, but there is a so-called exception ban.
That means: If standing up is really necessary from a technical point of view, an exception can be granted.

No potential for conflict: optical deadly sins remain taboo
However, the optical deadly sins - towering over the ridge, standing up perpendicular to the direction of the ridge and standing up with an unequal inclination - remain prohibited.
In practice, however, this should not have any great potential for conflict, because according to Breitwieser, no applications have been received so far.

On the other hand, the provision was softened, which stipulated that skylights and chimneys must be connected and integrated into the panel surface and that the formation of stair-like closures was prohibited.
It has been demoted to the norm.
Balconies and facades were also regulated
The building committee has retained the previous strict line for photovoltaic and solar systems on balconies, facades and open spaces.
Here only a reservation of exception was built in.
This makes such a measure possible with convincing integration.

Manfred Burger (Greens) successfully suggested further easing.
The building officer suggested allowing exceptions to the mandatory roof colors of red or red-brown if roof tiles are suitable as photovoltaic systems.
Only on exposed roofs does the system have to match the existing color scheme of the environment.
The committee members remained behind the possibilities that the administration had prepared.
For example, the attachment of photovoltaic panels to balconies should be permitted, but on the condition that they "harmonize with the building" - a requirement that the respective planner would have had to check.
According to Breitwieser, this would be the most extensive variant.
But the committee preferred to keep its say.
