Armed attack on two schools in Brazil leaves three dead and 11 injured

An attack on two schools in the municipality of Aracruz, in the state of Espírito Santo, Brazil, left at least three people dead and 11 injured this Friday, the state-run Agencia Brasil reported.

The Military Police of Espírito Santo have not yet been able to determine who is responsible for these attacks, which occurred in the Coqueiral neighborhood, according to the news agency.

The attacker entered the Primo Bitti public school with a pistol and several magazines, leaving two people dead and nine wounded, it added.

The report added that he later entered a vehicle that invaded the Playa Coqueiral school, firing nine shots that left at least one person dead and two wounded.
