Because he bumped into her, a 36-year-old kicked the man in the shin – he hit back.
The dispute in Erlangen continued to escalate.
Erlangen - On Wednesday (November 23) there was a physical altercation between three people in downtown Erlangen.
The police reported this in a press release.

According to this, a woman (36) was walking her dog in the Nürnberger Straße area when she was bumped into by a 34-year-old man.
The woman then kicked the shin, "which he acknowledged with a punch," according to the police.
The situation escalated further when the 34-year-old stepped towards the woman's dog.
"There was another exchange of blows between the two brawlers, after which the woman fled to the lobby of a nearby hotel," the press release continues.
The man followed her.
The woman's 37-year-old companion finally intervened in the hotel lobby and threw his mobile phone at the 36-year-old's head.
Hotel employees called the police.
