The senior civil servant Frédéric Dupuch, suspected of having transmitted the subjects of the competition of commissioner to a candidate who was his mistress, was dismissed from his functions, learned Friday November 25 the AFP from source familiar with the file, confirming information from France Inter.
The candidate, a commander in post at the legal center of the General Directorate of the National Police, was also revoked.
Their dismissal was "
decided and signed
" last week, this source told AFP.
"Fraud in a public competition"
Frédéric Dupuch, who chaired the jury for this professional examination, and the candidate had already been indicted and placed under judicial supervision at the end of May for "
fraud in a public competition
".
This case was brought to light during judicial wiretaps targeting the candidate, according to sources familiar with the matter.

The candidate had been wiretapped to watch her brother, targeted in a separate investigation in the North and who was difficult to locate due to his regular changes of phone chips.
Until this case, Frédéric Dupuch was in office in the office of the director general of the national police Frédéric Veaux, where he piloted the controversial reform project of the national police and the judicial police.
He was replaced in these functions by Inspector General Grégory-Hugues Frély.
Before that, Frédéric Dupuch had notably been director of local security for the Paris conurbation (DSPAP).
He had been sacked after the violence that occurred during the demonstrations of "
yellow vests
" in 2019.
